Evidence, priorities & next steps
Security Assessment
Review a defined part of your environment and turn the evidence into a prioritized plan your team can act on.
Quoted to scope. Deliverables, schedule and fees are agreed before work begins.
Who it is for
Organizations that need a clear view of risk in an agreed system, application or business workflow
What we can deliver
- Written scope, authorized review methods and a current-state inventory of the agreed systems.
- Review of relevant access, configuration, data handling or application controls against the agreed criteria.
- Prioritized findings with supporting evidence, limitations and practical remediation guidance.
- A readout and action plan with owners, dependencies and recommended next checks.
The final scope, access requirements, schedule and included handoff are agreed for your engagement.
01 / Fit
When this is a useful next step
- You need a practical baseline for a named system or workflow.
- Your team needs evidence and priorities before choosing remediation work.
- An application, integration or information-handling change needs a focused security review.
02 / Delivery
How the work unfolds
Agree on the review
Name the systems, questions, owners, access and permitted methods. Set written authorization and explain the limits of the assessment.
Review the evidence
Examine the agreed configuration, documentation, access or application evidence. Discuss relevant operational constraints with the people responsible.
Prioritize the findings
Document what the evidence establishes, affected systems and practical next steps. Separate confirmed findings from open questions and record limitations.
Review the action plan
Walk through the findings and agree on owners, dependencies and next decisions. Any implementation or retesting is explicitly included or separately scoped.
We agree on the scope, responsibilities, schedule and completion criteria before starting. These steps are adapted to that agreement.
03 / Handoff
What you can put to use
Scope and baseline
The systems reviewed, methods used, evidence considered and limitations of the work.
Findings and priorities
Evidence-supported findings with a practical explanation of risk and recommended remediation.
Action plan and readout
A prioritized set of next actions and a session with the responsible stakeholders.
Your proposal identifies the included outputs, their format and the review or handoff session. Further implementation or support is agreed separately.
04 / Preparation
What we need from you
- Identify the systems and decisions you want the assessment to inform.
- Name an owner who can authorize access and provide relevant documentation.
- Agree on an appropriate way to share evidence; keep credentials and sensitive records out of the initial inquiry.
Scope boundaries
This is a scoped assessment, not a certification, compliance attestation or guarantee of security. Active penetration testing, forensic investigation, production changes, remediation and retesting require explicit inclusion. The proposal identifies the review criteria and permitted activity.
05 / Illustrative scope
What an engagement could look like
This is a planning example, not a client result or a promise of outcomes.
Starting situation
A team uses several business applications to share customer information but is unsure who has access.
Agreed work
Review an agreed workflow, access roles and sharing configuration, then document confirmed gaps and their practical consequences.
Useful handoff
A prioritized action plan and findings readout for the business and technical owners.
06 / Questions
Before you inquire
Is this a penetration test?
Not by default. An assessment can focus on documentation, configuration, architecture or application review. Penetration testing is a separate defined service with written targets and rules of engagement.
Can you help with the fixes?
Remediation can be included in a proposal or scoped as a follow-up implementation. The assessment identifies what needs attention without assuming permission to change production systems.
How are fees and timing set?
The quote depends on the systems, evidence, review depth and access requirements. Scope, deliverables, schedule and fees are agreed before starting.
Start with a conversation.
Tell us who the work is for, what you want to improve and your preferred timing. We will confirm fit and provide a scope-based quote, with deliverables, schedule and fees agreed before work begins.
